April Full Moon - Wind Moon

April's Full Moon is called the Wind Moon, Hare Moon, Seed or Planting Moon, Planter's Moon,   Budding Trees Moon, Eastermonath (Eostre Month), Ostarmanoth, Pink Moon, or Green Grass Moon.  It is also the Dragon Boat Festival in China.

It is a time of conception, fertility, regeneration, discovery, and new growth.


Colors: Bright primary colors -- red, yellow, blue -- and their combinations, gold
Gemstones: Quartz, selenite, angelite, ruby, garnet, sard
Trees: Hazel, forsythia, lilac, willow, pine, bay
Goddesses: Columbina, Venus,  Ishtar, Tawaret, Eostre, Aphrodite, Tellus Mater,  Persephone, Ceres, Bast, Kali, Hathor, Anahita
Gods: Herne, Cernunnos
Herbs: Dandelion, milkweed, dogwood, fennel, dill, basil, chives, dragons blood, geranium, thistle
Element: Air
Flowers: daisy, sweetpea, 
Scents: pine, bay, bergamot, patchouli
Nature Spirits: plant faeries
Animals: bear, wolf
Birds: hawk, magpie
Power Flow: energy into creating and producing; return balance to the nerves.  Change, self-confidence, self-reliance, take advantage of opportunities.  Work on temper and emotional flare-ups and selfishness.
