The 44 Days of Witchery Challenge: Witchy tools: athame

I can tell you what an athame is, but I don't personally use one. An athame is a ceremonial knife to be used during witchcraft and ritual. Some witches keep their athames sharp, so they can cut things, while others use dull athames. Athames make me think of something phallic, and that just doesn't appeal to me. I don't feel any internal pull toward using one, so I don't.
